Are there risks in getting very large implants?
Depending on expectations of final breast size there is a spectrum of breast implant volumes appropriate for any given patient. Chest dimensions are very important in the evaluation of appropriate implants. When excessively large implants are used not only can the result be more disproportionate and potentially unnatural in appearance, but the implants can stretch the skin envelope and increase the amount of breast sagging and distortion over time.
